Lester chargers are supplied with standard Anderson Plugs, 50 amp grey,
175 amp grey, 50 amp red, 175 amp red. Please specify which plug you want.
If you have a golf cart or scissor lift, you will have to purchase your
charger plug from the equipment manufacturer. Semi-Automatic Chargers
have a Dial Timer. Set charge length to desired number of hours to charge
batteries. Fully-Automatic Chargers have a circuit board that detects
battery charge level. This is the prefered charger type and helps extend
battery life. If your battery charger is hard wired direct to the
machine, you will have to install your own charger plug terminals for the
connection to the batteries. You will also need to install a DC switch
to break the circuit. (only if hard wired) Charger models that are fully
automatic have a circuit board and relay that detect the battery voltage.
The Charger will not restart without unpluging the battery connection
and then reconnecting. Once reconnected, the charger will start a new charging
cycle.
