The QPW chargers are completely electronically controlled, designed
to charge and
maintain batteries in a float condition. Float status is easily determined
by the "WINKING"
LED. The QPW's can charge wet, or sealed batteries and are great for
gel's requiring a
"Do Not Exceed" voltage limit.
Current limiting is available to provide protection against cranking
or other loads placed on
the battery while the charger is connected. This is an especially rare
feature for a charger
this size and price.
The QPW's can also be permanently mounted with a special mounting plate.
Despite their
small size, 4" x 5.5" x 5.5", the QPW's are designed for continuous
duty industrial use.
As for safety, the ANTIC ARC circuit means no power in the charge leads
until connected
correctly to the battery, and no sparks if the leads are shortened
together.
